The AostaValley is the smallest region of Italy, placed between the Alps bordering France and Switzerland. Here we can find four among the highest peaks in Europe: Monte Bianco (4,810 m), Monte Rosa (4,634 m), Monte Cervino (4,478 m) with its characteristic pyramid shape, and the Gran Paradiso (4,061 m).
